Nepal and Bhutan Tour

This tour is specially designed to make you explore the most splendid monuments along with its medieval towns and monasteries and temples, giving you an insight to the rich tradition and unique customs of Nepal and Bhutan.

The ideal period to make the most of this trip is October and November when the both the countries celebrates festivals such as: Dashain, Tsechu and Tihar.


About The Package


Day 1:  Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. One of our representatives will welcome you and accompany you to the hotel.

Accommodation: Hotel Manang with breakfast

Day 2: Morning transfer to the domestic airport for a scenic flight to Pokhara. You will enjoy a mesmerizing view of the mountain ranges like Langtang, Manaslu and Annapurna. An half an hour flight will land you in a lake city Pokhara. Transfer to your hotel and rest of the day free.

Accommodation: Hotel Trek-O-Tel with breakfast

Day 3: Today you will visit to the major attractions of Pokhara such as: Devis fall, Gupteshwor cave, Mountain museum and peace pagoda.

Day 4: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for the beautiful sunrise view and the mountain views of Annapurna range. In the afternoon fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to the cultural city of Bhaktapur.

Day 5:  After your breakfast drive to Changunarayan Temple. A beautiful temple on a hillock lying to the north of Bhaktapur is one of the oldest temple of Nepal which is also listed under world heritage site. After the visit drive to Sankhu, an old typical newari village and enjoy the walk around the village. By the afternoon you will be back to Bhaktapur and visit Bhaktapur durbar square.

Day 6:  Today in the morning drive back to Kathmandu and visit Pashupatinath, a very important place where the Hindu cremation takes place every day. Kopan monastery to be visited later along with Bouddhanath  that is the biggest stupa of the Kathmandu valley.

Day 7: Early morning drive towards Kirtipur. Kirtipur is an ancient Newari town situated in the south west of Kathmandu city. A powerful kingdom during the malla period holds its charm of newari lifestyle and rich culture. From Kirtipur you will head towards Dakshinkali temple in the south. A highly revered temple of goddess kali worshipped for power and well-being, an important place for the Hindus. While heading towards Dakshinkali you will have an opportunity to visit Chovar on the way. It is the place from where all the rivers in Kathmandu valley pour down through a gorge towards south in the Terai. There is a legend about this place that Manjushree had cut of the hill at Chovar to let the water of Kathmandu valley to flow down and established a settlement in the valley for the first time. You will be staying at Neydo hotel adjoined with the Monastery at Pharping today.

Day 8: Today after your breakfast you will head back to Kathmandu and visit to the city of art, Patan Durbar Sqaure. Your next visit will be to the Monkey temple or Swayambhunath: stupa situated on the uphill and end by visiting Kathmandu durbar square, the square surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples. It is known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, a name derived from a statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram.

Day 9:  Flight KTM-PARO. Arrival in Paro Intl. airport (eta 1020) and take a short drive till the traditional wooden bridge and walk up to the Paro dzong to witness Dromchoe dances purely performed by monks and sacred. No folk dances during Dromchoe. In the afternoon, visit Kyichu temple (oldest in Bhutan) and drive to Thimphu.

Overnight Riverview hotel or equivalent on FB (lunch, dinner & BB).
Day 10: Morning drive to Tashichhodzong and witness for a short while, Thimphu Dromchoe dance in Dukkhang (congregation hall) but one has to watch from the attic with wire mesh in between and you are not allowed to take photographs. Rest of the day visit New Buddha statue, Takin Zoo, School for Arts and Crafts.
Day 11: After breakfast drive to wangduephordang and witness the Tsechu at the military parade ground (dzong gutted by fire in 2012). In the afternoon, drive to Punakha and take a short hike to Khamsumm Yule namgyal Chorten OR drive opposite Punakha Dzong and walk over the longest hanging bridge over Pho Chu river.

Day 12: In the morning drive to Punakha and visit the Dzong and also attend a long life blessing. In the afternoon, drive to Thimphu.

Overnight in Riverview hotel or equivalent on FB
Day 13: Morning witness Thimphu Tsechu at the Tendral ground behind the dzong. In the afternoon, drive to Paro.

Overnight in Namsey Resort or equivalent on FB
Day 14:   In the morning, take a short drive till Ramthanka and hike for 45 minutes till Taktshang cafeteria and further 1 hour hike to Tigers Nest monastery. It is more or less a whole day trip.

Day 15: Early morning drive to airport for flight PARO-KTM, arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 16: Transfer to Kathmandu International airport according to your flight schedule.
