The Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayas and is visited by thousands of trekkers each year, who come from all over the world to enjoy the scenic views of majestic Mt. Everest (8,848), Mt. Pumori, Ama Dablam and to learn about the culture of Khumbu valley’s inhabitants. Anyone looking for the combination of adventure, fascinating and unique customs of local people must plan for the Everest Base Camp trekking. Though the route may be challenging at times, but you will be very pleased to find yourself surrounded by astonishing peaks and glaciers.
About The Package
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and you will be welcome by our representative. A short drive by car will bring you to your hotel where while a welcome drink is served you will be briefed on your trip program. Later on you can take your time to accommodate and rest.

Day 02: Kathmandu- Lukla
An exciting morning flight to Lukla by Tara Air will bring you to Khumbu Valley, the home for Everest and Sherpa ethnic group, from where you will start trekking to the village of Monjo. You will be now onwards assisted by a local English-speaking guide and a porter during the entire trek.

Day 03: Lukla- Namche Bazaar
Amazing view and challenging walk will lead you to Khumbu Valley’s capital, Namche Bazaar, a vibrant village situated at elevated altitude on the traditional trading route from Tibet.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar
Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.
It is advisable for your better acclimatization to do a short hike – a walk to the Everest View Hotel will additionally provide you the first spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse.
In the village of Khunde you can visit the hospital and the school built by the late Sir Edmund Hillary. From this area Thamserku, Kangtega, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Everest and Kongde Ri are seen.

Day 05: Namche - Tengboche
Slow and steady trek will bring you to Tengboche, a village with a magnificent Buddhist monastery and a breath-taking view.

Day 06: Tengboche-Pheriche
A few-hour walk through rhododendron forest, crossing numerous suspension bridges and a gorgeous view of an almost 7 thousand meter high mount Ama Dablam - these are only few features of that unforgettable day that will conclude in Pheriche.

Day 07: Pheriche- Lobuche
Our today’s destination is the village of Lobuche, placed at the crossroad between Lobuche and Khumbu Glaciers, via Thokla Pass.

Day 08: Lobuche- Gorakshep
During today’s walk to Gorakshep you will be rewarded with a splendid panoramic view of mount Pumo Ri (7165m), Mt. Everest (8850m), Nuptse (7864m), among other Himalayan peaks.
We leave our luggage in Gorakshep and after a short walk we reach our final destination, Everest Base Camp (5364m), one of the world’s “must go” places, which during the peak seasons turns into a colorful town full of the tents of climbing expeditions from all over the world.
We then walk back to Gorakshep.

Day 09: Gorakshep- Pangboche
Walk down towards Pangboche.

Day 10: Pangboche- Namche Bazaar
Walk to Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Namche- Lukla
Walk back to Lukla where the unforgettable mountain adventure ends.

Day 12: Lukla- Kathmandu
Early morning flight will take you back to Kathmandu. From the airport you will be transferred to your hotel.
Take your time walking around Durbar Marg, a fancy avenue that leads at Narayanhity Palace Museum. You can purchase some local souvenirs in Thamel, a popular touristic area where you will find plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Day 13: Kathmandu
After your trek you can reward yourself with a relaxing day in the capital.

Day 14: Cultural visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu
Your guide will take you to Swayambhunath a 2500-year old stupa situated on a hill and over-looking Katmandu valley. The painted eyes on four sides represent the all-seeing eyes of Buddha and are watching constantly both: wrong and good doers. This is a place of a high religious value for the Buddhists.
We continue our tour to Bodanath stupa: one of the principal sanctuaries in Buddhist religion, surrounded by numerous monasteries. The area is famous for very high presence of Tibetan refugees.
The day concludes in the ancient city of Patan, also known as Lalitpur, which means “city of fine arts”. Patan lies 5 km south of Kathmandu. The whole complex of Durbar Square – its old town - consists of different sections of medieval palaces. Patan is also very famous for its artisans.

Day 15: International Departure
You will be transferred to the International airport, three hours prior to your departure time for your flight to your home country.
