A fascinating place Mustang had been a forbidden land for the visitors until few decades back.  Mustang is among those few of places in Nepal which has been far from the mass tourists  unlike many other trekking regions which makes it more authentic with pure and untouched natural beauty hidden from the world outside. The land formation in this high mountain region is unique with cold and deserted environment. The beautiful and rare colors of green trees and crops in the barren and rocky mountain makes it appealing to the eyes. The influence of Tibetan culture and lifestyle due to it’s proximity with Tibet can be easily noticed in this highland. Mustang is a lifetime memory for the trek enthusiasts. The trekking through the high passes, gorges of Kaligandaki, beautiful villages, mani walls and Chortens is once in a life time memory for the visitors. You will come up with many fascinating landscapes and picturesque location on this trek. Lo-manthang the capital of former kingdom of Mustang has a lot to offer the visitors. The area of Mustang has been declard as a restricted trekking area by the government of Nepal and requires a special permit to visit this area.
